Around August of most years, the JBU has a youth rally. Youths from the Baptist Churches all across Jamaica would participate in areas such as; Chorale Speaking, Dancing, Bible Quiz, Football, Domino Competition, Chorale Singing to name a few. Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the rally was postponed indefinitely.
To compensate for this loss, the SACABAYA orchestrated a Singing Competition titled “Battle in Praise”, geared toward restoring a level of enthusiasm among the youth by creating an environment of healthy competition the annual youth rally would normally provide.
