Edgewater Baptist Church is set to host a meaningful and timely “Family Month Series 2026” under the theme REACH: The Holistic Journey. Organized by the church’s Healing and Counselling Ministry in collaboration with couples’ and youth ministries, this virtual event aims to equip individuals and families with practical tools for navigating life’s challenges.
Held every Wednesday in May at 7:30 PM via Zoom, the series brings together experienced professionals who will address emotional, physical, and financial well-being. The opening session on May 6 features guidance counselor Mr. Wayne Brown, who will introduce the R.E.A.C.H. framework for overcoming life’s obstacles. On May 13, medical doctors Dr. Jheuvan Leslie and Dr. Geneille Williams-Leslie will discuss taking charge of personal health through informed and courageous decision-making.
The series continues on May 20 with financial advisor Mrs. Veronica Blake-Turner, who will explore resilience and community strength in financial care. Closing on May 27, Dr. Kimone Young will focus on building generational health and creating a legacy through healthy living. This initiative reflects a holistic approach to growth, promoting resilience, empathy, action, care, and healing all while fostering stronger, healthier families and communities.
